There are several cruises to the Hawaiian Islands each year, but only a couple that actually depart from the cruise port at San Francisco, California. All San Francisco to Hawaii cruises can be booked through P and O Cruises, a Carnival subsidiary out of the United Kingdom. The main ship used for these voyages is the Oriana, a modern ship suited for any passenger age. The Oriana offers a variety of elegant staterooms and suites geared to accommodate singles, seniors, families and couples.

San Francisco to Auckland

Board the Oriana via San Francisco for a 15 night cruise that stops in five ports and countries along the way. Your Pacific voyage will start by passing beneath the infamous Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and then traveling out to the Hawaiian Islands within the first five days. The first port stop on your trip will be Kahului, Hawaii and you'll spend a full day here, a minimum of 7 hours and a maximum of 15 hours. Your next stop in Hawaii will be to Honolulu on the island of Oahu. You will spend another full day here before going back out to sea. The last stop before reaching your final destination of Auckland, New Zealand, will be to the city of Apia in Western Samoa. This is another full day port of call so be sure to take advantage of visiting the area's villages and monuments.
