Petoskey State Park

Camping at Petoskey State Park is offered through two different campgrounds: Petoskey-Tannery Creek Modern and Petoskey-Dunes Modern. Both campgrounds accommodate guests with RVs and the rates are comparable; however, only Tannery Creek has 50-amp electrical service and also offers inexpensive off-season rates. Campers can take advantage of modern restroom facilities at both campgrounds. The state park campgrounds are located right on the shore of Little Traverse Bay and visitors can access the lake by paths that run between the beach and the park. Two dominant trails, Old Baldy and the Portage Trail, are commonly used by cyclists and hikers, and during the winter campers can cross-country ski along the Portage Trail.
