Erie, Pennsylvania, is a waterfront town on Lake Erie that offers long sandy beaches and a wealth of attractions and activities. Visitors will find several RV Parks and campgrounds in the area that offer convenient access to Lake Erie and other attractions including the Erie Zoo, Waldameer Park and hiking the beach and forest trails to Presque Isle Lighthouse.

Sara’s Campground

Sara’s Campground is located on Lake Erie adjacent to the Presque Isle State Park in downtown Erie, Pennsylvania. It offers full hookup RV sites and rustic tent sites that include a picnic table and fire ring.



Facility amenities include a camp store that has groceries and fishing supplies, a coin-operated Laundromat and modern restrooms with private showers. There are three restaurants on site and a cocktail lounge.



Recreational amenities include a playground, bike rentals and swimming area in Lake Erie along with volleyball and basketball courts. Hiking trails are accessible from the campground that traverses the wooded area of Presque Isle State Park.

Moon Meadows Campground

Moon Meadows Campground is located in a rural area 10 miles to the east of downtown Erie, Pennsylvania. It offers shaded full-hookup RV sites and rustic tent sites that include a fire ring and picnic table. Rental cabins are also available that have one to three bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.



Facility amenities include a convenience store, movie rentals and modern restrooms with private showers. Recreational amenities include a stocked fishing pond, a playground and planned activities as well as volleyball and basketball courts.



The property is surrounded by an extensive wooded area where guests will find hiking and mountain bike trails.

Erie KOA

Erie KOA is located 13 miles to the southwest of downtown Erie in McKean, Pennsylvania. It offers partial and full-hookup RV sites that include cable TV, wireless Internet access and a picnic table.



Facility amenities include a camp store, a banquet room with kitchen and a modern bathhouse with private showers. Other amenities include a private lake for fishing and swimming, a playground and an outdoor swimming pool with sundeck. A game room includes an arcade, billiards and table tennis.



During the summer months, there are daily planned children’s activities and nightly movies. Erie KOA has forest hiking and bike trails throughout the wooded area surrounding the campground with bikes available for rent at the camp store.
