Camping Showers in Bend, Oregon

Camping Showers in Bend, Oregon
One of the premier outdoor recreation destinations in Oregon, Bend offers skiing, fishing, hiking, biking, whitewater rafting and rock climbing all in the midst of far reaching mountains and the rustic, quiet landscape of the high desert. Campers looking for shower facilities after a day out on the Deschutes River or hiking the trails of Pilot Butte State Park have plenty of options.

Tumalo State Park

The solar shower facilities of this park are environmentally friendly, with solar panels lining the roof of the shower building providing the heat for the water. This park features hiker/biker camps, tent camping and full hook-up RV sites. Group camps and picnic areas may also be reserved. Located less than seven miles from downtown Bend with shore access to the Deschutes River, campers can hike or bike among park trails or fish for rainbow trout in the river. Tumalo State Park provides a measure of solitude from the hustle of town, but close enough to the lively Bend scene to grab a hearty meal following a day on the nearby trails or on the river.
