Alaska Overnight Raft Fishing Trips

Alaska, also known as The Great Land, is home to numerous wild rivers full of salmon, dolly varden, arctic grayling and trout. Many of the rivers are remote, requiring rafts or other conveyances to get to the prime fishing areas. There are many outfitters and guide services specializing in rafting and fishing throughout the state. If you are bold and adventurous and want more than just a day on the river, consider an overnight trip where you raft and cast away for salmon.

Frontier River Guides

The Frontier River Guides offer rafting and fishing floats throughout Alaska. Trips into the Katmai, western Alaska, The Brooks Range and throughout the Alaska Range are offered. Frontiers guides are seasoned professionals, skilled in fly-fishing and rafting.

All meals are included on overnight or multi-day trips, as is group camp gear such as tents, kitchen gear and rafting equipment. You provide your own sleeping bag and pad, clothing, personal items and fishing gear (if desired). Frontier will provide fishing gear if you aren't traveling with your own.

Tent, meals and group camp gear are included in the overnight trips. Guides have training in white-water and swift-water rescue and are skilled fishermen.

In addition to fishing for king or sockeye salmon, prepare to see grizzly bear, moose, caribou and wolves along the rivers. Bring your own sleeping bag and pad, clothing, personal items and fishing gear. Fishing gear rentals are available in Talkeetna if needed.
