About three blocks off the Willamette River and surrounded by numerous parks and gardens, including Wallace Marine Park, Rice Time Korean Restaurant may not prove the fanciest place in the area--but it may rank as one of the best. The portions are generous, the food is tasty and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Rice Time specializes in BBQ (called bulgogi) at your table, and the tofu soup is always on special. Galbi (ribs) and bibimbab (mixed vegetables on rice) are hearty Korean specialties. Rice Time is child-friendly, but beer and wine is served at the restaurant. The typical price range, as of 2010, is $10 to $25 a person. Dress is casual, and take-out is available.
