Seasonal Camping in Minnesota
Minnesota is a four-season recreational destination with many camping opportunities. Many campgrounds and RV parks offer seasonal campsites from May to September with the convenience of not having to transport your RV to and from your home. They offer many amenities and planned activities and provide convenient access to the state's thousands of fishing lakes, lush forest hiking trails and one-of-a-kind small town shopping areas.

Big Foot Resort

Big Foot Resort is located in Alexandria, Minnesota, on St. Mary Lake. It offers seasonal campsites that include full hookup, wood deck and fire ring. 10 rental cabins are available, which include a fully equipped kitchen, deck and all linens. Facility amenities include camp store, gift shop and game room along with modern restrooms and private showers. Recreational amenities include a playground, two outdoor swimming pools and a miniature golf course. A large sandy beachfront area provides swimming for guests along with several fishing piers. Big Foot Resort offers boat rentals to its guests for a daily fee. There is a walking trail located throughout the resort and runs to a wooded section of land to the north.

Flickabirds Resort

Flickabirds Resort is located on East Rush Lake six miles west of Rush City, Minnesota. It features 50 seasonal campsites that include full hookup, grass yard area and private dock on the lake. Facility amenities include a full-service restaurant with lake-view patio dining, sand volleyball court and large sandy beach with swimming area. There is a boat launch on site, and the resort sells gasoline and propane. A hiking trail is accessible from the resort; it runs through a wooded area located to the north of the campground.

Kiesler's Campground

Kiesler's Campground and RV Park is located on Clear Lake in Waseca, Minnesota. It offers seasonal campsites that include full hookup, cable TV and wireless Internet as well as gravel pad and fire ring. Facility amenities include a coin-operated laundry, camp store and recreation hall, along with modern restrooms and private showers. Recreational amenities include two swimming pools, two water slides and miniature golf course as well as volleyball and basketball courts. Several fishing and docking piers are available, along with bait and boat rentals directly from the resort. Clear Lake has a paved walking and biking trail that runs along the shoreline, and nearby Maplewood Park has wooded hiking trails accessible from the Clear Lake Trail.
