Fort Wilderness Campground & RV Park
Fort Wilderness Campground & RV Park is located less then two miles east of Whittier, North Carolina. The campground has a semi-wooded landscape and enjoys views of the surrounding Smoky Mountains. It offers full and partial hookup campsites that include cable TV access, a picnic table and fire ring. Facility amenities include two bathhouses with private showers, a coin-operated guest laundry and camp store along with a banquet room and Sunday church service. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool with patio seating area, a playground and arcade. Horseback riding is available on-site as well as a hiking trail that runs in the forestland around the campground.
