Tours last six nights, seven days and are filled with hiking each day. Days are spent hiking along the Bandelier National Monument, following Ancestral Puebloan routes, walking at Santuario de Chimayó and exploring the trails at the Wild Rivers Recreation Area. All meals and lodging are included in vacation packages. Guides, transportation, snacks and drinks are provided as part of the vacation fees.

All meals, snacks, ground transportation to trail heads and destinations, lodging and guides are part of the vacation package and are included in charges. Participants spend days hiking trails in the Sangre de Christo Mountains, Pecos National Monument, an Anasazi settlement and into Georgia O'Keefe country near Bandelier National Monument. Custom Hiking Tours

Travelers can choose their own trails, itineraries and lodges and hire a private guide from Outspire Hiking and Snowshoe Guides. The possibilities are numerous when booking a private hiking guide. Outspire is based in Santa Fe and arranges for trails in the Sangre de Christo, Santa Fe and Taos. Guides are versed in wilderness medicine, the natural history of the region, cultural history of New Mexico and backcountry travel and techniques. All snacks and drinks are provided during custom day treks and hikes. Day trips are between one and seven hours, depending on participants' level of ability and physical conditioning.
