Lick Creek Lodge in Pekin, Illinois is a private club offering special daily memberships for fishing or hunting. Membership and lodging includes everything you need to enjoy the nearly 1,000-acre private preserve and 55-acre private, stocked lake. The man-made, spring-fed lake has steep drop-offs and is stocked with bass, crappie, blue gill and catfish.

Hidden Lake Bed and Breakfast

Almost in Illinois' "big toe," Hidden Lake Bed and Breakfast is located in the Shawnee National Forest on the shore of a hidden two-acre lake, where anglers are limited to catch-and-release fishing. The bed and breakfast, which features several luxury suites, is an easy drive from Giant City State Park, Little Grassy Lake and Crab Orchard National Preserve.
