Wolf Laurel, which is now referred to as Wolf Ridge, is part of a 5,000-acre resort community in North Carolina. The Wolf Ridge Ski Resort offers guests a variety of outdoor activities such as snow skiing, golf, horseback riding, swimming, tennis, croquet, white water rafting, and hiking on the Appalachian Trail. For visitors to the Wolf Ridge area, there are several different cabin rentals available that range in size and amenities.

In addition to cabin rentals, Wolf Mountain Realty offers guests to the Wolf Laurel area lodging in mountain chalets and condominiums. Accommodations offered through this agency are located in Mars Hill, the actual location of Wolf Ridge, as well as Asheville and Hendersonville. In Mars Hill, the cabin at 179 Chestnut Village has two bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and sleeps a total of six occupants. This log cabin has a forest green décor throughout with wood finishing. Amenities include pool table, semi-covered furnished deck with a charcoal grill and woodland views. Also, there is a paved driveway for convenient access.

Campfire Lodgings

Campfire Lodgings is located approximately 20 miles south of Mars Hill in Asheville. In addition to cabin rentals, they also rent a few yurts, which are domes with an exterior that resembles a tent but with an interior that includes electricity and separated living quarters. One yurt is located on Goldview Knob in over 100 acres of woods that include numerous trails suitable for biking and hiking. The two-story cabins available with Campfire Lodging have loft bedrooms that are accessed by spiraled, wooden staircases. There are a total of two bedrooms and two baths in addition to a wood-burning stove in the living area. No smoking is allowed in the cabins and there are specific policies regarding pet-friendliness. Amenities include furnished wood deck with picnic table, washer/dryer and cathedral ceilings.

The Log Cabin Motor Court

The Log Cabin Motor Court is located in Asheville, N.C. This property was established in 1930 and is nestled among the woods. Consisting of eighteen authentic log cabins, these accommodations include a total of twenty-one units that vary in size and amenities. All of the cabins have modern decorations and wood flooring throughout. The Lodge House is the largest unit available, coming with four beds, a kitchen, air conditioning, fireplace, and gas log stove. One of the smaller units is the Midnight Roast cabin that has one bedroom, refrigerator and air conditioning.
