Thomas Burgess, the founder of the town, built the Rose Lawn Lodge on the shores of the Moon River in 1903. Located in the heart of Bala, the property features scenic gardens and a small lake in front of the resort. The historic inn offers eight en suite guest rooms, including four rooms with south facing porches and water views.
