Hotels Located Around the Las Vegas Airport
Las Vegas has something for everyone. The hiking, rock climbing and mountain biking available at Red Rock Canyon, less than 50 miles from Vegas, make this a great destination for the outdoor enthusiast, while the gambling, shows and shopping should appeal to anyone. Las Vegas has hundreds of hotels from which to choose, with several of them near McCarran Airport.

Residence Inn Las Vegas South

Located just 2.1 miles from McCarran and 1/2 mile from the south end of the Strip, the Residence Inn Las Vegas South offers comfortable accommodations and reasonable rates. This hotel has free Internet, complimentary parking and an outdoor pool. The rooms have separate sleeping, working, leisure and eating areas and feature full kitchens. Residence Inn Las Vegas South rates start at $149 for weekend nights but offer better rates if reserved for at least 7 days.

Four Seasons Las Vegas

The Four Seasons in Las Vegas is 1.2 miles from the airport. This four-star hotel offers pools, a spa, fitness facilities and business services. Four Seasons also caters to the younger members of the family, offering Playstation in the rooms, complimentary milk and cookies for the little ones or popcorn and soda for teens, a special children's menu in the hotel's restaurant, baby-proofing of hotel rooms and free use of high chairs and strollers during your stay. Four Seasons can even arrange for a babysitter for an additional charge. The rooms have 42-inch plasma TVs, DVD players, a separate work area, cable television, terrycloth robes for use during your stay and hypoallergenic bedding upon request. You can expect to pay around $250 and up per weekend night.

Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino

Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino is 1.4 miles from the airport and is on the south end of the Strip. Mandalay Bay has a casino on-site, several restaurants, valet parking, stores, pools, fitness facilities, a wedding chapel and the Shark Reef Aquarium. Rooms are decorated in simple chic style, with breathtaking views of Las Vegas. Rates start around $300 per weekend night, though non-peak season and weekday stays will sometimes be much lower.

Luxor

The Luxor is 1.5 miles from McCarran and features distinctive architecture that ties in well with its Egyptian theme. The entire casino and resort is a pyramid that emits the world's brightest beam of light. The Luxor offers gambling, game arcades for the kids, shows, dining and nightclubs on-site. The rooms overlook the atrium in the center of the pyramid and offer luxurious bedding, great views, free Internet, oversize showers and newspapers. There are pools and fitness facilities in the hotel. Weekend rates start at $180 per night.

Doubletree Club Las Vegas Airport

The Doubletree Club Las Vegas Airport is 1.5 miles from the airport and runs a complimentary 24-hour parking shuttle to and from the airport. This is a non-gaming hotel, so there is no gambling on-site. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi Internet, a heated outdoor pool, restaurants, complimentary self-parking and fitness facilities. The rooms are decorated with modern decor and feature in-room safes, 37-inch LCD TVs, work desks, MP3-compatible radios and Neutrogena bath products. Gambling, the University of Nevada Las Vegas and the Mandalay Bay Convention Center are all nearby. Rates for a Saturday night start at $99.
