The Kings Head
The Kings Head is a 30-room hotel with modern amenities like television and wireless Internet access. En-suite bathrooms are tiled with marble and some rooms include corner tubs. The on-site Kings restaurant is a fine-dining establishment serving up typical British dinner menu items like roast lamb fillet and haunch of venison. The restaurant also has altered hours to accommodate people attending productions at the Georgian Theatre Royal. Each table has a view of the cobbled town square, and there is a "Panelled Room" for private dining that features a fire place and distinctive decorations. On Sunday, Kings also serves lunch.

Located at the edge of Kirby Hill, The Shoulder of Mutton Inn is an 18th-century inn with panoramic views. There are only five guest rooms, four doubles and one family room, but the prices are some of the lowest in the area. Food and drink options at The Shoulder of Mutton Inn include a full menu of traditional dishes served in the dining room and a bar that serves up ales, malt whiskies and a full wine list. The common areas of the inn feature exposed beams of dark wood and stone walls.
