The true Southern hospitality, linen-covered tables, formal dining room and wood-paneled bar with a working fireplace create an atmosphere of old-world charm in this Lexington restaurant. Featured in "Bon Appetit," "Southern Living," and "Conde Nast Traveler," the American classic menu includes Southern favorites such as fried green tomatoes, blackened salmon with crawfish corn pudding and a bacon-wrapped filet mignon with bourbon demi glace. Located in Victorian Square, on the northwest corner of Main and Broadway, the restaurant offers a fine dining experience amid a classic setting. Indulge in the famous cream-style cornbread with honey butter as well as traditional American dishes, such as prime rib, roasted pork loin, Maryland crab cakes and Kentucky outback shrimp, or choose one of the seasonal menu specials. Set in a historic building that previously housed a grocery store, a general store, basket factory and a furniture store, smoking is not permitted in the restaurant.
