As the home of the Catskill Mountains and Upper Delaware River, there are many campgrounds and hiking trails, such as the Terrace Mountain Trail, Devil's Tombstone Campground and more waiting for you to explore.

Devil's Tombstone Campground

The Devil's Campground in the Catskill Mountains is a great place for serious campers and hikers as well as those just looking to have some fun. With more than two dozen tent and trailer sites as well as boating, fishing and hiking locations, the campground will provide everything you need for your getaway, including picnic tables, children's playground, canoe and kayak rentals and more. There are also places where you can do some sightseeing and explore the native landscape as well as watching the wildlife in the mountains. The campground features a Junior Naturalist Program to help kids learn about the environment around them and how to care for nature.

Terrace Mountain Trail

The Terrace Mountain Trail is an easy path that winds for 30 miles through the Catskill Mountains on the east side of the hills. it runs from Weaver's Falls to the Corbin Bridge along the Raystown Lake and is easily accessible from several locations. The 30-mile trails can be broken up into seven segments, allowing you to tailor your hike to as long or as short as you want it to be. The trails are maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers, providing for paths that are free of hazards and impassible obstacles. The Terrace Mountain Trail also has several camping locations along its path as well as boat launching areas and places where you can sit and relax during you hike.

Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River

Enjoy the rolling hills and breath-taking scenery of the Delaware River Valley when you visit the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River area. The Upper Delaware is teeming with all types of wildlife, from bald eagles to ducks and white-tailed deer to beavers and other animals. The recreational area includes several outdoor activities and campgrounds with hiking trails along the river way, several boating rental companies, such as Indian Head Canoes and Kittatinny Canoes, and fishing locations with bait and tackle rental shops nearby. The area is also home to the Roebling Bridge Tollhouse with historic photographs of the area and how the bridge and aqueduct came to be built.
