Island Activities

The incredible physical beauty of the island makes for tons of outdoor fun. Stocking Island has wonderful snorkeling around the island. Much of the marine biodiversity is untouched. Also consider hiking, fishing, sea kayaking, sail boating or simply exploring the island.

Other Tips

There are various ways to travel between the more than 700 islands that make up the Bahamas. Consider flying into Freeport or Nassau and hopping on a small plane to move from island to island. You can also explore by renting a catamaran. You can even take an island mail boat. These boats run weekly from island to island for a very inexpensive rate (about $35 per ride).
