Located in central Ohio just 11 miles northwest of Columbus, the small city of Dublin has a lot to offer. The historic areas of Dublin are excellent places to shop and dine, while other areas offer people the chance to engage in various sports. A city filled with history, Dublin is a small, charming city that will entice people to visit often.

Sports Ohio

Sports Ohio is a huge sports center that has something for everyone. The complex hosts every sport imaginable, including baseball, basketball, figure skating, cheerleading and football. The 18-hole miniature golf course is easy enough for little ones to enjoy the game but hard enough to challenge adults. For those with a need for speed, the go-kart tracks are home to cars designed to resemble various NASCAR cars. There is also a rookie track available to children ages 4 through 10 who don't meet the height requirement of 58 inches on the larger track. In addition to various sports, gamers will enjoy the arcade that is filled with sports-themed video games.

Brazenhead Irish Pub

Whether stopping in for drinks or looking for a good meal, visitors to Dublin, Ohio, can bask in the ambiance of a true Irish pub. The pub was modeled after the oldest pub in Dublin, Ireland, which was frequented by author James Joyce. The decor of the pub is true to an authentic Irish pub, and all of the decorations that adorn Brazenhead either came directly from Ireland or were inspired by artifacts found there. Patio seating is open weather-permitting and the pub frequently plays host to various musicians for their guests to enjoy.

Historic Fletcher-Coffman Home

Constructed in the early 1860s, the Fletcher-Coffman Homestead was restored to allow visitors the opportunity to step back in time and enjoy life as it was in the mid-1800s. Guests visiting the historic home can also tour the Heritage Gardens. Located on the property, the garden comes alive with heirloom plants from the late 1800s. Guests are also welcome to tour the barn, which houses farm machinery used on early period farms.

Historic Dublin

Located at High Street and Bridge Street, the historic Dublin district is home to quaint specialty shops and restaurants. Visitors can browse through various stores that sell anything from yarn to children's clothing and toys. The historic area was the site of the original village of Dublin and offers breath-taking examples of architecture from the 19th century.

The Morgan House

Located on Glick Road, the Morgan House is a log cabin that was expanded and now houses three floors of antiques, handbags, jewelry, home decor, gourmet food and gifts. The on-site restaurant has a variety of items for guests to choose from. Prepared by an on-site chef, the menu ranges from soups and salads to wraps and sandwiches.
