American Airlines
Like Delta, American Airlines has a large presence throughout the United States. It provides flights from California to New York and almost everywhere in between. American Airlines is the largest provider in passenger miles (most distance) and is situated in Fort Worth, Texas. Even though the airline company offers flights throughout the country, a majority of them are to and from the southwestern U.S.

Southwest Airline
Southwest started out as a Texas instate airline. It has expanded into a low fair company that doesn't have a seating assignment. Most of the flights focus in the southwestern United States, but they do have a few flights going to major cities throughout the country.

Air Tran
As another low cost air carrier, Air Tran provides flights to most major cities throughout the country. Typically, Air Tran will have the lowest air fair of all airline providers. The airline is based out of Delaware, but it does have another base in Orlando, Florida. Despite having the two different headquarters, the majority of the flights come and go from the Atlanta International Airport. This is not unusual, though, because the Atlanta airport is the busiest airport in the world.

Jet Blue
Jet Blue is a smaller flight provider who generally avoids the middle of the country (except for Denver and Salt Lake City). Most flights are on both the east and west coastlines. JetBlue is based out of New York. The majority of its flights come from the JFK International Airport. This is why most of the flights only stay on the coast lines of the country.
