Toledo is located in the northwest corner of Ohio; it's only a stone's throw away from the state of Michigan. If you are visiting the area with your children and are looking for fun things to do, don't worry. Toledo has many things to offer the visiting family in terms of entertainment and fun. From minor league baseball games to science museums that teach as much as they entertain, Toledo is a great place to take your small children for fun.

If your children love hot dogs, head on over to Tony Paco's. This restaurant was popularized by the character Klinger in the hit television show M*A*S*H. Even if you don't like hot dogs, there is a wide variety of food available for you to order. In addition, what helps set this restaurant apart from other hot dog joints is the wall of hot dog buns. Almost all of the walls are covered in hot dog buns which have been signed by numerous celebrities. Your kids will surely love the wall art, and you'll probably get a kick out of all the celebrities who have stopped in, from the cast of M*A*S*H to former president Clinton.

If you're in Toledo during the summer time--and are up for a fun evening of baseball--head on over to watch the Toledo Mud Hens. The Toledo Mud Hens is a AAA affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. This is where most of the teams of and coming stars will perform at before being called up to the big league. At the Mud Hens game, you will pay far less than the typical major league price, and the food and drinks will be cheaper as well.
