Agua Tierra Trail
Translated as the water-earth trail, the Agua Tierra Trail running through the Glan Canyon National Park is a 0.6-mile trail of desert landscape, cultivated gardens and many examples of erosion and land formations made over time. There are 11 different markers along the hike to point out specific areas of interest. The trail is an easy hike that will take you about 45 minutes to an hour; be sure to bring water and sun protection. There are guidebooks available about the trail at the visitors center that will explain the history of the trail and the "leave no trace" policy of the park. Your hike will begin at the Wild Rose building in the park near the Lake Powell Resort Lodge.
