Tivoli Victoria
This hotel is part of the Tivoli chain of 5 star hotels, which is one of several located in the Algarve. It has 280 rooms and a dozen and a half suites, including the Presidential Suite. The hotel includes 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 4 outdoor swimming pools (1 especially for children), 1 indoor pool, a tennis court and a spa. In the immediate area are 11 different golf courses, a marina with boat rentals and Nikki Beach.

BaySide Salgados
A solid entry into the 3 star hotel range in Albufeira is the BaySide Salgados Golf and Beach Resort. The hotel is next door to the Salgados Golf Course, placing a day of golf in easy walking distance. A little under 3/4s of a mile away are the beaches of Salgados and Gale. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, indoor swimming pool and offers Internet access. It is also very family friendly, in that it offers either standard rooms or small apartments with a kitchen, suitable for four people.

Hotel da Gale
Not quite a youth hostel, the Hotel da Gale is a good 1 star budget hotel. It has 60 rooms, and almost all of them have a view of the ocean. They serve breakfast, have their own roof top bar, and every room has a private bathroom and cable TV. It also has its own outdoor pool. That combination of elements is rare for such a bargain basement hotel, and in 2009 prices for a single room ranged between 20 and 30 euros. In the immediate vicinity are two tennis courts and Peneco Beach.
