With a population of 203,400 residents, Tacoma, Washington is the third largest city in the state. Area attractions include Point Defiance Park, Owen Beach, Titlow Beach (popular for scuba diving), the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium and the W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory. Guests can also enjoy historic landmarks, such as the Engine House No. 9 Fire Station, built in 1907, and Stadium High School, which was the setting for the movie "10 Things I Hate About You," starring the late Heath Ledger. Stanley & Seafort's Steak, Chop & Fish House

Stanley & Seafort's Steak, Chop & Fish House, located on the south side of Tacoma, offers diners an extensive menu, highlighting favorites such as filet mignon, sirloin strip, New York strip, prime rib and rib-eye steak. All steaks come form corn-fed, aged Black Angus beef. The restaurant also offers chicken and seafood dishes, including grilled lobster tail, jumbo sea shrimp and roasted chicken Dijon. The menu showcases a variety of appetizers, soups, salads and fresh raw oysters. Lunch runs Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and dinner is served Sunday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturdays from 2 p.m. until 11 p.m.

Elmer's Restaurant

Elmer's Restaurant, located in downtown Tacoma, offers a variety of dining options, such as a speciality diet menu, dinner menu, bar and grill fare and kid's meals. Catering services and delivery are also available. The restaurant specializes in flat iron steaks, sirloin steaks and Elmer's prime rib, which is slowly roasted, garnished with onions and served with au jus. Try the braised pork shank, beer-battered fish and chips, Salisbury steak, chicken fried steak, grilled pork chops or roasted turkey as well as an extensive offering of salads and desserts. Elmer's also specializes in sides, such as sauteed green beans with garlic butter and broccoli cheese souffle.

Adriatic Grill

The Adriatic Grill is a combination restaurant and wine bar, with menu selections such as steak salad, garlic top sirloin, mushroom filet mignon, and T-bone Fiorentina, a 20-ounce steak crusted with Italian sea salt and herbs. Try Italian favorites like chicken fettuccine, spaghetti with meatballs and clam linguine as well as a variety of pizzas, salads, soups, and appetizers, including crab cakes and calamari with artichokes. The restaurant is family-owned and operated and famous for homemade desserts, such as white chocolate pumpkin cheesecake and chocolate rum cake. The bar also features an extensive wine list.
