NASCAR
The Sahara offers a unique experience for auto racing fans with its NASCAR-themed cafe, rides and arcade. The NASCAR cafe offers casual dining and the Dale Earnhardt-designed Carzilla Bar---a three-ton Pontiac Grand Prix stock car. The cafe also features the 35,000-square-foot Las Vegas Cyber Speedway, which has racing simulators that reach speeds of up to 220 mph. Outside the cafe is Speed--The Ride, a NASCAR-themed roller coaster that reaches speeds of up to 70 mph and climbs to a height of 224 feet. Lastly, the auto racing theme continues at the Pit Pass Arcade, a 24-hour video game arcade inside the Sahara.
Entertainment
The Sahara offers live entertainment every night in either the Sahara Theater, Congo Room or Casbar Theater Lounge. The Sahara Theater houses the long-running show, the Comedy Stop, which in the past has featured Tim Allen, Drew Carey, Ray Romano and Rosie O'Donnell, among others. The hotel is also home to the Magic and Tigers of Rick Thomas, an illusion show that features Bengal tigers. Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show combines comedy and music at the Sahara Theater, and the Casbar Theater Lounge features nightly music acts.
Dining
In addition to the NASCAR Cafe, the Sahara offers on-site dining at the House of Lords, the Caravan Cafe and the Grind Cafe. The House of Lords is one of the oldest steakhouses in Las Vegas, and features large, intimate booths and flowing water fountains. The menu ranges from filet mignon to salmon and oysters. The Caravan Cafe features a large menu with a variety of offerings---from hamburgers to prime rib---in a relaxed and casual setting. The Grind Cafe offers coffee and pastries.
