Home to the football Cowboys and the basketball Mavericks, Dallas is a part of the Dallas-Ft. Worth- Arlington Metropolitan area in eastern Texas. Local attractions include the Dallas World Aquarium and the Dallas Museum of Art. There are 406 parks operated by the City of Dallas and they include 61.6 miles of jogging and biking trails and six 18-hole golf courses. Sunny Wok

Eight miles southeast of South Lancaster Road, just off of Interstate 20, the Sunny Wok Chinese restaurant serves Szechuan style cuisine. This eatery is opened seven days a week and the dinner menu lists a wide variety of healthy dishes, rice and noodle specialties, moo shu, egg foo young and signature dishes. Several of the chefs' specialties include beef with scallop in garlic sauce, shrimp with pepper and salt, and sesame chicken, beef or shrimp.

M & T China Garden

Ten miles southeast of South Lancaster Road in Duncanville, the M&T China Garden is a family-owned and operated restaurant that was established in 2006. The entire Ta family, from the father to the aunt and uncle to the son and daughters all have a hand in preparing the dishes at this restaurant, at one time or another. There is parking available on a private lot and delivery and takeout services are available. This is a moderately-priced establishment. Both lunch an dinner are served at M&T and dinner entrees include beef with green pepper, pan-fried noodle with chicken, and shrimp in lobster sauce.

Genghis Grill--The Mongolian Stir Fry

Just 12 miles north of South Lancaster Road, the Genghis Grill is a restaurant chain that has locations in 17 different states with over 25 restaurants in Texas. Legend has it that the 12th-century Mongolian warrior Genghis Khan and his troops grilled their food over open flames using shields. This legend fuels the fire behind the Asian stir-fry dishes this establishment specializes in. The atmosphere at Genghis Grill is family-friendly and lively and dining is available in a colorful environment with booth and table seating. Each customer builds his or her own bowl that consists of a starch such as fried rice or udon noodles, a sauce, vegetables like bok choy, broccoli or mushrooms, and a protein that can range from marinated white fish to sliced beef.
