The French Laundry
The French Laundry is an eatery that is fashioned after a typical bistro found in France. The outdoor dining area that is available is in front of the restaurant situated partially under a green awning upon a landscaped lawn. The al fresco seating area is well lit and also includes ornately designed, wrought-iron tables and chairs. The bistro-style ambiance continues into the dining room with its black and white checkered floors, wood-beamed ceilings and shelves filled with bottles of wine behind the bar. The French Laundry also offers a variety of services such as a supper club, catering and classes in pie making and hors d'oeuvres. French cuisine is served for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and entrée items include pan-seared scallops with pumpkin beurre blanc, which consists of jumbo seared scallops served with saffron-flavored orzo pasta that is drizzled with pumpkin beurre blanc.

Just over 16 miles east of Fenton in Ortonville, Bullfrogs is a family-friendly restaurant that has scenic views of nearby Lake Louise.
