Dallas, Texas is located on the eastern side of the state. It is a sprawling city with many recreational opportunities and cultural entertainment. Sandy Lake RV Resort is 15 miles north of Dallas and a few miles northeast of North Lake Park. The resort offers short-term rates for those just passing through, but also has long-term rates for retirees that might be looking for longer stays in between trips. Destiny Dallas RV Resort is situated 30 miles north of Dallas and nearby to both Oakland Park and West Lake Park. RV sites are offered on a daily basis all the way up to monthly rentals for retirees and those that can stay in one place longer. Dallas Hi Ho RV Park is located 20 miles south of Dallas and just east of Cedar Hill State Park. Long- and short-term stays are welcome. Retirees will like the fact that they can make it a permanent home if they so choose. Amenities include laundry facilities, picnic tables with grills, supply sales and restrooms. Internet access is available as well. Fishing and golf opportunities are a short drive away.
