There are several fine Birmingham area ATV trails for all levels of riders from beginners to advance racers. Whether you're looking for the challenge of hill climbs, rocky terrain and mud bogs, or you'd prefer a peaceful day ride of easy terrain and great views, Birmingham area trails are a place to start.

The Ridge

The Ridge is an off-road park just 30 minutes from Birmingham in Springville. The park has more tan 30 miles of trails for all types of off-road vehicles including ATVs, dirt bikes, motocross and mud bogs. Whether you're new to riding or are an experienced ATV enthusiast, The Ridge trails have something to offer everyone with terrain including woods, fire lanes, fields, hill climbs, creeks and rocks. The Ridge marks all trails for difficulty level, either beginner, intermediate or advanced.

Wilborn Extreme Outdoors

Another Birmingham area ATV trail is the Wilborn Extreme Outdoors north of Birmingham. The ATV park provides a scenic ride through canyons, valleys and mountaintops. The park offers trails for the extreme rider with hill climbs or mud bogs. It is also suited for the novice ATV enthusiast with easy riding trails that provide great views and a fun day. You'll never get bored of the same trail at Wilborn because they have more than 100 miles of trails spread across 4,000 acres of land. The park prohibits alcohol and firearms on the trails.

Kentuck ORV Park

The Kentuck ORV Park is an ATV paradise. Just east of Birmingham, in Talladega, Alabama, the park has 23 miles of off-road trails. Trails range from flat terrain with no obstacles to more rough spots with steep inclines, rocks and logs as obstacles. Trails are open 24-hours a day provided your ATV has the proper headlights and taillights. The park closes January through March.
