Dallas is one of the largest cities in Texas, and among the most ethnically diverse cities in the U.S. Outdoor recreation venues are abundant in the southern city, which boasts 18 lakes and 17,000 acres of parkland. Fishing, swimming, boating, water skiing, sailing, kayaking, wind surfing, hiking and biking opportunities abound for active visitors. Dallas is also the home of world-class shopping and fine dining, and offers a truly eclectic nightlife, with many clubs that feature live music and entertainment. Posh venues for three-bedroom suites perfectly embody the city's slogan, "Live large. Think big."
