Lodges in Southern Colorado

It's quite possible that southern Colorado has all it would take to fulfill every outdoor adventure you ever dreamed of: 14,000-foot peaks, white-water, sand dunes and healing hot springs are just some of the region's natural features. If you just want peace and quiet you can stay in any of the region's cozy lodges nestled deep in nature.

Lone Wolf Lodge

The Lone Wolf Lodge is a group of cabins built in a ponderosa pine forest in the Four Corners Area, where the boundaries of Utah, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico meet in one geographic point. From here, you can explore everything the region has to offer including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, skiing or simply sitting back and enjoying the view of the Rocky Mountains.

The cabins vary in size from one to three bedrooms, but they all have the same amenities: a private bathroom, satellite television, Internet, a deck and a picnic table right outside the door.

Far View Lodge

Located inside Mesa Verde National Park, this is perhaps the most spectacular lodge in southern Colorado. It reflects the essence of the park, the country's most abundant archeological preserve with 4,000 ancient sites and cliff dwellings of the Ancestral Puebloan people. Instead of in-room television and Internet, to entertain you, Far View Lodge offers private balconies. Let the surrounding view from 8,500 feet above sea level mesmerize you.

Every room also has a private bathroom, clock radio, telephone, small refrigerator, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Not all rooms have air conditioning. Wheelchair accessible rooms are available.
