Hawaii Nature Center
The Hawaii Nature Center is a children's activity in Maui with 30 hands-on exhibits allowing children to explore Hawaii's natural history. Children learn about protecting Hawaii's unique environment, and children, five years of age or older, may enjoy the Rainforest Walk. It is a guided hike along an ancient footpath through the Iao Valley. Children can view lush landscaping with Hawaiian plants, learn of Hawaiian folklore and the history of the Hawaiian Islands.

Iao Valley State Park
Iao Valley State Park is a children's activity in Maui with a paved six-tenths of a mile walk to the 'Iao Needle. The 'Iao Needle situated in the Iao Valley is a natural rock pillar with the clear water 'Iao stream running beside it, and surrounded by the Pu'u Kukui Crater. Trails are easy for children to navigate and clear pools of water can be viewed. Kahului Harbor will offer a spectacular view. Also, a botanical garden is located in the park. There is no on-site drinking water so you will need to bring your own.

Maui Ocean Center
Children aged 3 to 12 can enjoy the Maui Ocean Center. The Maui Ocean Center is a children's activity in Maui with views of reef sharks, living coral, green sea turtles, dolphins, seals and whales. Hands-on activities and over 60 exhibits to explore are included. Certified divers can experience a dive with sharks, stingrays and other ocean creatures in the Open Ocean Exhibit. Family members can view this dive. The Maui Ocean Center has a gift store and an ocean view restaurant, the Seascape Ma'alaea.
