The Broken Egg
The Broken Egg is an old-fashioned diner in downtown Ann Arbor. It serves traditional breakfast items such as eggs, toast, bacon, hash browns, waffles and pancakes. It is open Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Specialty items include a Cajun sausage omelet, caramel apple French toast and a veggie scrambler.

Afternoon Delight
Afternoon Delight has been serving breakfast to hungry Ann Arbor residents and visitors since 1978. It is open from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Daily breakfast items include both meat and vegetarian items. Eggs Benedict, breakfast pita pockets, omelets, waffles, pancakes and bagels are standard daily breakfast items. On Sunday, a brunch is served from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. and includes specialty items, such as potato pancakes, biscuits and gravy, French toast and homemade corned beef hash.

Angelo's
Angelo's was first opened in 1958. Today the second generation carries on the family restaurant tradition. Famous for its huge breakfasts, Angelo's opens at 6 a.m. Monday through Saturday. On Sunday, the restaurant opens at 7 a.m. Menu items include deep fried French toast, pancakes, waffles, eggs Benedict and lox Benedict. Daily breakfast specials are offered as well, including homemade crab cakes and pumpkin pancakes. Adjacent to the restaurant is Angelo's on the side, a to go coffee shop that offers fresh bakery goods, such as bread, muffins and scones.
