La Pergola
With their rooftop location, this restaurant features great views of the city amid a luxury dining experience. La Pergola is the only restaurant in Rome to have received three Michelin stars. It has been named the best restaurant in Rome by major Italian gastronomic guides such as L'Espresso, Gambero Rosso and Bibenda. Chef Heinz Beck prepares "alta cucina" specialties that include lamb in olive crust with artichoke ragout, duck liver escalope with crisp pigeon, and veal sweetbreads with saffron couscous. The wine cellar holds more than 53,000 bottles. Guests must make reservations far in advance.

Since a 2006 design makeover, this restaurant has attracted the crowds, but the food keeps people coming back. The New York Times chose this restaurant as a top spot in Rome. This small restaurant has a cozy and elegant atmosphere. The menu is traditional Italian with an Asian flair. Some dishes are risotto with mozzarella; sun-dried fish eggs, ginger and lime; or black cod with lemongrass foam and shallot compote. Desserts include truffles with raspberries and coconut chips or baked pear with lavender and honey ice cream. It features a five- or six-course menu, as well as a tasting menu.

La Rosetta
This is one of Rome's best seafood restaurants, according to The New York Times. Near the Piazza Navona, it has been operating since the 1960s. Chef Massimo Riccioli has authored a cookbook. The menu features a wide variety of fish from the Mediterranean Sea, coast of France, and even Maine lobsters. It features dishes such as baby octopus with zucchini strings and sage chips and Langoustine lasagna with pumpkin flower and pecorino cheese. A tasting menu is also offered.
