This romantic getaway, named for an ancient Greek city that was renowned for its wealth and opulence, has been in business for over 30 years and offers modern day conveniences. The hotel is close to several local points of interest such as the Willowhill Golf Course and River Trail Nature Center. There are several different types of suites to choose from, all of which are tastefully decorated and feature plush queen-or king-sized bedding, whirlpool tub, cable TV and cozy fireplace. This award-winning bed and breakfast is nestled in a beautifully maintained, historic neighborhood that's within walking distance of several shops and eateries. It is also near many area attractions like Apple River State Park and the former home of President Ulysses S. Grant. The owners offer special discounts for off-peak season travel or stays of three nights or more.
