It is known for southern charm and hospitality but Mississippi is also the birthplace of blues music. Visitors to the state may be surprised to find so much to see and do, including fishing on the many lakes, rivers and the Gulf of Mexico, or riding in an airboat on a tour of an alligator farm. For visitors more interested in playing indoors, the state has resorts with food, games and entertainment.
