Outdoor enthusiasts traveling to Arkansas can find a variety of year-round activities, from mountain biking along the wilderness trails of the Ozark Mountains, to bass fishing on Beaver Lake. There's plenty of hiking in The Original Treehouse Cottages area, including a private trail that makes a 1-mile loop. Hikers and bicyclists can also enjoy the Blue Springs Heritage Center, Lake Leatherwood--which also offers swimming, boating and birding--Withrow Springs State Park and Pivot Rock.
