Magic Kingdom Park and Walt Disney Fort Wilderness Resort

Walt Disney World is one of the top tourist destinations in the world, seeing more than 25 million visitors each year. While Disney World leads the industry with some of the best hotels and resorts, they also have very attractive campgrounds that appeal to those who enjoy an outdoor adventure. Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort gives campers a backwoods feel, enlightened with the spirit of Mickey Mouse at every corner. There are several options for campers at Fort Wilderness Resort, beginning with the premium campsite starting at $74 per night. These are the largest sites at the park. They can accommodate a large RV, motor home and a tent. Extra spacious sites have a concrete paved parking pad and drive. Pets may stay in designated sites. The $64 per night site offers the same amenities except is a few feet smaller than the premium site. Both offer an upgraded grill and picnic table. The $59.99 campsites offer accommodations for an RV and one tent and have basic amenities and hookups such as electric, water, sewer, grill, picnic table, Wi-Fi and cable Internet. There are tent and pop-up camper sites with rates starting at $44. Sites have a water spigot and electrical outlet. All sites have pine and Cyprus shade. The campground has convenient bus transportation to all Disney world resorts.

Fort Wilderness Resort is located in the Magic Kingdom section of the Disney property. Magic Kingdom, one of Disney's first Florida amusement parks is home to Cinderella's castle. Set in the shape of wheel, the 107-acre park has multiple sections including Fantasyland, Liberty Square and Adventure Land, with Main Street U.S.A welcoming guests.
