Lexington is one of the most famous towns in the United States because it is the home of the first shots of the American Revolution, fired during the Battle of Lexington and Concord. Every year on April 19, there is a re-enactment commemorating the event.

Aside from the historical significance of the town, Lexington is an affluent area with dozens of famous residents. With activities such as golf, and non-war attractions such Wilson Farms and the Old Reservoir there is a lot to do do in the area. But for those on a budget, there are some lodging options near the town.
