Cape Flattery is the northwestern-most point of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. It is one of the most beautiful places on the Makah Indian Reservation and provides opportunities for hiking, whale watching and many other outdoor activities. The Cape Flattery Trail is almost a mile long and consists of a boardwalk, as well as stone and gravel steps. There are four observation decks boasting breathtaking views of the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary and Tatoosh Island. A number of resorts here cater to a variety of budgets and interests.

Hobuck Beach Resort

Hobuck Beach Resort at Neah Bay is part of the Makah Indian reservation. Three types of cabins are available, and feature a master bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a sleeper sofa or futon in the living room.

Cabins are equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, a four-burner stove with an oven, kitchen utensils and accessories, coffee and a coffeemaker. Private bathrooms are equipped with a tub/shower combination and contain towels and toiletries.

The cabin price depends on its proximity to the beach and how many people it can accommodate, four to six. The resort also offers satellite TV and picnic tables, and the loft cabins have a satellite TV and fire pit. The Loft Cabins are closest to the beach and have no oven, as well as a loft bedroom rather than a sleeper sofa or futon.

Canoe and kayak permits are available for a daily fee. Since this is part of the tribe's cultural heritage, visitors are requested to be mindful of all nature during their visit.
