Wellsboro is a small town in north-central Pennsylvania. Guests travel to the area for a variety of area sites, including the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, two area golf courses and local ski slopes. In an historic building, originally constructed in 1869, the Penn Wells Hotel offers a true taste of the Wellsboro area. In operation as the Penn Wells Hotel since 1926, guests will find antique décor throughout the hotel, including a large lobby with a fireplace and lounge. Wireless Internet is available in all guest rooms, and several bed options are available. Guests can choose from double beds, king beds, two-room suites and three-room suites. At the Penn Wells Lodge, located minutes from the Penn Wells Hotel, guests can take advantage of the indoor pool and the fitness center, free of charge.There is a restaurant available on-site for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Next door to the hotel is a classic movie theater, the Arcadia Theater, opened in 1921 and renovated in 1997.

Sherwood Motel

The Sherwood Motel is a small motel located in the heart of Wellsboro. Every room includes cable television with HBO, a refrigerator, a microwave and free wireless Internet. There is an outdoor heated pool available for guest use. While there is no restaurant located on-site, there are several dining options within a few minutes of the Sherwood Motel, including local restaurants like Wellsboro Diner, Tony's Italian Cuisine and Harland's Family Style Restaurant.

Coach Stop Inn

On Route 6, 12 miles outside of downtown Wellsboro, is the Coach Stop Inn. The hotel includes 29 guest rooms, each offering air conditioning, a refrigerator, cable television and a VCR. The Coach Stop Inn offers a restaurant and lounge on-site open every spring and summer. An outdoor seasonal pool is also available, as well a horseshoe pit and a fire ring for group functions. The inn also offers a variety of services for those looking to explore various outdoor activities, such as guided covered wagon rides, bird watching, elk tracking and guided bike tours.
