This 32-floor hotel in Times Square offers suites with the comforts of home. From the fully equipped kitchenette to the entertainment systems, guests can comfortably relax at the end of a day exploring New York City. Guests may stretch out in the room's easy chair or get some work done at the desk with two-line speakerphone. Hotel amenities include a fitness center, business services and valet service. Pets are allowed with a $75 nonrefundable deposit for up to six nights, and $150 for seven or more nights. A one-week stay will total about $1,800.

AKA Central Park

New York City visitors will be in the center of it all at this extended-stay hotel at the edge of Central Park. The recently redesigned building features studio and one- and two-bedroom suites with a modern décor and upgraded finishes and fixtures. The fully equipped kitchens include granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances.

The sleekly decorated penthouse suites each occupy 900 square feet of the private 17th floor. Penthouse occupants may enjoy the city views from the 1,500-square-foot wraparound terrace, with fireplace and lounge furniture. After an active day, guests may grab a bite at the on-site café and espresso bar, and then unwind with a relaxing massage. Guests can also stick to their workout routine at the hotel's fitness center. The weekly suite rental fee is about $1,800.

Staybridge Suites -- Times Square

These suites feature a contemporary décor with clean lines, stainless-steel appliances and upgraded finishes. Each room features a kitchen with all the utensils to make a meal. At the end of a busy day, guests may relax with an in-room movie or listen to some music on the CD player. Amenities include wireless Internet access, a fitness center and a convenience store.

Busy vacationers may appreciate the travel services, including rental car, air travel, tours and travel agent desks. Should the need arise to do a little work, the business center has a computer, printer, fax machine and photocopier. Pets under 80 pounds are welcome with a nonrefundable $75 fee for up to six nights, and a $150 fee for seven nights or longer. Room fee for a week is about $1,300.
