Lake Hartwell Camping and Cabins
There are seven fully equipped cabins at Lake Hartwell's campgrounds in Townville, South Carolina. The charming cedar cabins have a kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom. According to the official tourism site of South Carolina, there are over 35 acres of hiking trails at Lake Hartwell. Visitors have access to boat rentals, tennis courts, volleyball court and outdoor pool. There is a two night minimum stay for cabin rentals, and a three night minimum if you stay during a holiday weekend.

Dreher Island State Recreation Area
Dreher Island State Recreation Area consists of three small, linked islands that are accessible by two bridges from the mainland. This romantic getaway has lakeside cabins along Lake Murray according to South Carolina State Parks. You can stay in an upscale two bedroom cabin that has access to hiking trails and picnic areas on Dreher Island. Cabins come equipped with a microwave, TV, enclosed porch and central air conditioning. Reservations can be made online or at the park's office.

Foxfire Mountain Cabins
Foxfire Mountain cabins are located on the border of South Carolina and North Carolina in the city of Cleveland. Couples can choose from a one room cabin with a loft or a two bedroom cabin. All cabins are secluded and located in high elevation areas. Amenities include a full sized kitchen, queen sized beds and electric heating. Foxfire Mountain is surrounded by five state parks and has plenty of hiking, mountain biking and rock climbing opportunities. There is a two night minimum for weekend stays at Foxfire Mountain Cabins.

Edisto Beach State Park
This oceanfront state park has several cabins surrounded by palmetto and oak trees in a gorgeous maritime forest. The park has biking and hiking trails and a secluded creek in a protected natural area. The resort style cabins at Edisto Beach are fully furnished and come with linens, cookware and a coffee maker. Their cabins also have an enclosed screen porch and outdoor grill. According to South Carolina State Parks, the cabin area is a mile and a half away from the ocean.
