Tranquilo Bay
Tranquilo Bay is an isolated island resort that can only be reached by boat. The log cabin accommodations at this eco-resort are made from local timber and materials to blend in as well as possible with the surrounding environment. Basic amenities at the cabins include coffee maker, air conditioning, hair dryer, porch hammock, and hot water for showers. There is over a mile of hiking trails running through the island, and the main lodge is a place for meals and the start of a guided tour of the local flora and fauna.

Uaguinega Dolphin Lodge
The Uaguinega Dolphin Lodge is on a small private island in the Kuna Yala series of islands. This lodge provides 11 log cabins for tourists. The cabins have the classic Panama design of log frames with thatch covering the roofs, giving the cabins a tropical appearance that fits in with the local aesthetic. These cabins are designed for minimum environmental impact, not for luxury. These cabins have electricity for five hours a day, from 6 to 11 pm. There are also three junior suites that do have electricity all night. These cabins are right on the beach, and the rates at the Uaguinega Dolphin Lodge include meals, guided bird watching tours, river tours, and even guided tours of local communities.
