Mississippi offers a beautiful coastline to explore. Often times overlooked, between the gaming options and lazy beach days, guests can find ample things to do on the water. Offering everything from lazy beach days (including parasailing) to casinos to golf, guests can find plenty to do in Mississippi.

Beau Rivage

Beau Rivage is a fairly well known hotel of Biloxi, MS. Complete with a casino, there is plenty of entertainment at this hotel. The hotel also offers a nightclub, sometimes featuring live bands, other nights a DJ. Beau Rivage Theatre seats 1500 people, attracting big name talent to a medium sized venue. You will feel close enough to really be a part of the show. A complete lineup of acts can be found online.

Hotel amenities include an arcade, shopping, a golf course, spa, salon and a pool that walks directly out onto the beach of the Mississippi Sound. There are four restaurants on the property, allowing guests to choose between fine dining, a more casual atmosphere and even something to grab on the go. Beau Rivage is a part of the MGM/Mirage Chain, so if you are a member of their points system, you can earn points here as well.

This location offers an outdoor pool as well as a business center. An on-site Steak House will keep you well fed. Room service is available every night until 10 pm if you choose to stay in. Island View Casino Resort

Another beach town in Mississippi is Gulfport. Recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina was not easy for this little town, but they have rebuilt and are going strong. Island View Casino Resort has property right on the beach. With an on-site coffee shop, guests can start their days with a jolt.

A rather large hotel, it offers down blankets, 24-hour room service, pillow top mattresses and free Wi-Fi. To eat, guests can dine in Emril's famous kitchen at Gulf Coast Fish House. Check out their website for the list of live music and performances as well as special rates on rooms. For the golfer, there is a nearby golf course that offers discounts for hotel guests.
