Baltimore, Maryland Flights & Hotels

Planning a trip to Baltimore, Maryland, is easy because of the number of flights into the area and the variety of hotels that are available in the city. Baltimore sits on the Patapsco River, which runs off of the Chesapeake Bay. This seaport was founded in 1729. Local attractions include the National Aquarium in Baltimore and Harborplace that is an entertainment and tourist center. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy fishing, canoeing, hiking, biking and camping at the Gunpowder Falls State Park.

Flights

Some of the many flights available to Baltimore are from New York City, on United Airlines, US Airways, American Airlines, and Delta Airlines. They all have coach seats with costs that start at $271 for round trip flights. Continental Airlines has business class seats that start at $1,415 that includes an amenity kit, dining on designer china, and premium wines and champagnes. First class seats are available through United Airlines for $2,804 and include priority check-in and boarding, complimentary Starbucks® coffee and spacious seating. 1840s Carrollton Inn

The 1840s Carrollton Inn is a boutique bed-and-breakfast that consists of interconnected row houses with some parts of this property dating back to the early 19th century and a courtyard that is adjacent to the 1840s Plaza. Situated in historical Jonestown, these accommodations are within walking distance of the Inner Harbor. Rooms and suites include the Diplomat suite that dates back to the 1790s and includes a French king bed, separate sitting room and an oval whirlpool bath. Amenities include a ballroom that was erected in the 1840s and is suitable for a luxurious business or social gathering.
