Each cabin is on private acreage, close to Yellowwood State Forest, Hoosier National Forest and the Little Nashville artists' colony. While getting away from it all, guests may appreciate some of the comforts of home like a fully equipped kitchen, central heating and air-conditioning, satellite television service, telephone and CD player. Some cabins feature a deck or screened porch and a hot tub. Pets are welcome in select cabins.

Antler Log Cabins

Located near Nashville, Ind., this log cabin retreat is close to a state park and two public lakes, as well as minutes away from Indiana University in Bloomington. The location provides a secluded setting while remaining in touch with civilization for shopping, dining and even taking in a university football game. The property features six cabins on 114 acres, with four private lakes, and it is open year-round. Most of the cabins provide sleeping arrangements for two to four guests, and some cabins may accommodate up to six people. Cabins feature a porch or deck, separate bedrooms or loft, a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom, a television and more. Guests may also select a cabin with a hot tub.

Located just 35 miles northwest of Indianapolis, Cabins and Candlelight markets itself as a great place for a convenient romantic getaway. Cabin features include a gas fireplace made of stone, a whirlpool tub, covered porch or screened deck, a gas grill, and a fully equipped kitchen stocked for breakfast. The two cabin choices feature a modern rustic décor, with comfortable furnishings and an entertainment center for television and music. They are located about 250 feet apart on 30 wooded acres along Sugar Creek, which offers the chance for fishing and kayaking. Guests may venture into nearby Crawfordsville, Thorntown, Lafayette or Lebanon to check out museums, antique stores, restaurants and golf courses.
