Mesh fishing vests are typically more compact than standard fishing vests. Standard designs feature external and internal zip and Velcro-close pockets and zippered compartments as well as front, rear and side pockets. Because of its compact design, mesh fishing vests can be worn alone during high temperatures or with layers during low temperatures.
