Camp Helen State Park

Camp Helen State Park is located only a 5-minute drive north of Ocean Park RV Resort. This day-use park has 180 acres of waterfront property.

You can enjoy swimming in the Gulf of Mexico or Lake Powell. The park also has numerous hiking and nature trails, some of which trace the history of the ancient mounds and buildings of the inhabitants from 4,000 years ago. You also can take part in guided wildlife-viewing walks.

Deer Lake State Park

Deer Lake State Park is about an hour drive from downtown Panama City and about a 45-minute drive from Ocean Park RV Resort's property limits. This park has a variety of dune lakes--which are only found on the Gulf Coast--and abundant flora and fauna.

A long boardwalk stretches across some of the protected areas, allowing visitors ample wildlife viewing. In addition, the Walton County 10-mile trail winds along the coast, and it can be walked or biked.
