Mexico fishing is as varied as its people, food and cultures. There are opportunities to go deep-sea fishing on the Baja Peninsula or the Gulf Coast waters. Bass anglers can fish lakes, rivers and estuaries for the species. There are charter operators and fishing guides in Mexico who offer trips for bass. All anglers will need Mexican fishing licenses and a valid passport if coming from the United States.

Las Palmas 2000 offers multiday, all-inclusive bass fishing trips form its lodge on Lake Guerrero. Packages include guides, use of fishing tackle, gear and bait, fish cleaning, lodging, meals and beer, margaritas, soft drinks and bottled water at the lodge. Bass fishing is best between January and March. Round-trip ground transportation is included from Harlingen, Texas. The guides at the lodge have at least 15 years of experience fishing the lake. Bring your camera, clothing and any toiletries you may need during your trip. The lodge can assist with a Mexican fishing license, if necessary.
