Heredia is a province in central Costa Rica famous for its coffee. The city of Heredia is the capital of the province and includes one of country's prestigious national universities. The Cariari

The Cariari Bed and Breakfast is located next to the upscale Cariari Golf Course and Country Club. The Cariari has three rooms that include refrigerator, wireless Internet access, cable television and ceiling fans. The Royal Suite includes a king-size bed, private bathroom and access to the deck. The Friendly Suite can accommodate up to three people with an extra bed, but the Cariari imposes a charge for a third person.

Breakfast at the Cariari includes fresh fruits, breads, juice, pancakes and eggs or omelets cooked any style on request. The house also provides fresh fruit for guests throughout the day. In addition, the house van accommodates transportation to the airport or for private tours. In the house, guests may enjoy massages and dance and language lessons.

The Orchid Lodge

The Orchid Lodge has rooms with various conveniences. Rooms at the Orchid Lodge include full bathrooms, cable television, phones and Internet access. Guests also have access to several common areas that encourage guests to socialize. In addition, guests may enjoy a complimentary pre-dinner wine and cheese tasting. Morning coffee at the Orchid Lodge comes from the nearby Britt Coffee Plantation.

The Orchid Lodge provides a full self-service breakfast that includes breads, cereals, fruit, juices, tea and coffees. Meals in the dining room are available for an additional cost. Tours and additional services may be arranged by the in-house concierge service.
